Stanley's first adventure led us to the state of Georgia! Memorial Day weekend all the Woodham family met at George T Bagby State Park for the weekend. We had so much fun! I REALLY wish I would have laminated Stanley so he could have had his picture made in more places! Especially when Avery Young, Auburn football player, showed up at the beach on Saturday!! Sunday we took a ride on the lake. It was short and sweet but we put out boats in memory of Cooper. I wish we could have put a Stanley on a Cooper Boat! HA! We also stopped to see an alligator farm. You could throw meat over the fence and the gators would come get it!
But here are the kids memories of that weekend:
Ella:
What was your favorite activity?

What was your favorite meal?

Gehrig:

Overall we had a great time with our family and remembering Cooper.

Meet Stanley Presley
My friend Angie teaches third grade at Straughan Elementary School. This year she did the Flat Stanley Project with her class. She posted on Facebook asking if anyone would be interested in hosting a Stanley or a Stella. I of course volunteered and fell in LOVE with the Stanley idea! I knew we had several trips planned this summer and what a great way to get the kids excited about traveling and also teach them about where we are going!
First I would like for you to meet our Stanleys. Ella's on the left and Gehrig's on the right.
